I have been waiting for this! It is here! Take a look. I really hope that care was taken with this film. Please be good.
Screen Junkies discuss how to fix the ‘Robocop’ remake.
I hear you brother… I hear you.
Captain America The Winter Soldier trailer!
Yesterday was the teaser for the trailer…
Now we have the trailer for the 3rd movie in Marvel’s phase 2.
This movie looks pretty awesome. Once again Marvel has taken a character like Falcon which I was skeptical about and made him look pretty rad.
NYCC – 2013 – The X-Files panel marriage proposal!
On NYCC‘s last day David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson came together to speak to fans about the 20th Anniversary of The X-Files. At the conclusion of the panel one fan wanted to ask a question of the duo – Would they give him their blessing as he then asked his girlfriend (and fellow X-Files fan) to marry him. It was one of the fun “Con” moments that I’m sure will give this couple a good story to tell friends and family in their future marriage.
Aeromobil’s Flying Car / Roadable Aircraft!
At the New York International Car show a few years ago we saw the Terrafugia Transition. The Transition looked more like a plane that could drive.
Now we have a new player, the Aeromobil 2.5 prototype which looks more like a car that can fly.
The 2.5, and the renderings for the 3.0 both look like they would fit into one of the Transformer movies. Check out the video above.
NYCC – The X-Files
Sunday at NYCC Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny gathered to talk about their time together on The X-Files. The panel ended with fans asking questions, the last of which was for the shows stars to give their blessing to a young man who asked his girlfriend to marry him. Here are some photos, enjoy!
‘SUPERHEROS: A NEVER-ENDING BATTLE’ airs on PBS!
SUPERHEROS: A NEVER-ENDING BATTLE is a 3 part special which aired on PBS last night. The special is hosted by Liev Schreiber and features interviews with Marvel’s Joe Quesada, Wonder Woman‘s Lynda Carter, and yes – Stan Lee.
SUPERHEROS is suburb look at the start of comic books and their impact on the world. This is a high quality documentary on the subject and not just some 40 minute special thrown together for air basic cable to coincide with the release of the latest big blockbuster comic book hero movie.
You can catch it online for free at PBS.org until 10/29, or purchase it on HD BLU-RAY. Given the outstanding quality this might be a buy for any pop culture or comic book fans looking to add to their DVD collection.
The three parts are:
Part 1 – Truth Justice and the American Way
Part 2 – Great Power, Great Responsibilities
Part 3 – Anyone Can Be A Hero
Screen Junkies – Walking Dead Honest Trailer!
Spoiler filled and hilarious!
NYCC – Star Wars Rebels!
Lucasfilm’s Pablo Hidalgo hosted the Star Wars Rebels panel Saturday at NYCC. Fans who gathered were treated to artwork from the upcoming series. The NYCC, panel focused on The Empire, unlike the panel for Rebels that was at Celebration Europe this past July which focused on the shows heroes, The Rebels.
Like with Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels borrows heavily from the art work of Ralph McQuarrie and a couple of other sources such as the Star Wars Kenner toy line.
Toward the end of the panel Pablo gave a glimpse of the first new character since Disney purchased all things Star Wars.
His name, (The Empire’s) Inquisitor. [Not sure if it is “Inquisitor”, “THE Inquisitor”, or “The Empire Presents A Darth Vader Joint, Inquisitor”] As (executive producer) Dave Filoni puts it “The Empire’s Inquisitor” and he is “tasked by Darth Vader to hunt down the remaining Jedi Knights.”
To my eyes, this Inquisitor fellow looks like he maybe a Pau’an, from the planet Utapau that was featured in Star Wars Episode III. I’m sure we will learn more about this newest bad guy next fall when the show airs on Disney XD.
Anyway check out some photos from the panel, and here is a link to Starwars.com’s story on the panel with some video. The color in some of the photos is not true to what was shown on screen. Enjoy!
