‘Community’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ return this week!

Community is returning to TV for its 4th season on NBC. Which must mean it is finally October 19th, 2012 right? Oh wait… It is February, in 2013. Oh dear. Well at least the Study Group will be back in our lives Thursday nights for a while. (Although a Christmas episode in the middle of spring will be rather strange)

So will Dan Harmon’s absence in season 4 be noticeable?  The New York Times Mike Hale seems to see a pretty drastic difference in the quality of the show since the first 3 seasons. His review of the first two episodes of season 4 can be found here.

Good or bad I’m still looking forward to it. I have had time to prepare since Harmon got the axe and the shows being pushed.

walking_dead_s3_midThis Sunday marks the return of another show, The Walking Dead, which picks up with a bit of a cliff-hanger. Last we saw Daryl and Merle finally reunited, but captured by The Governor. Their fate is being chosen by the citizens of Woodbury. Will they live? Will they die? Will it be eye for an eye? Tune in (or DVR I don’t really care) this Sunday Feb 10th at 9/8c.

Also don’t forget that The Talking Dead with Chris Hardwick also returns, now airing right after The Walking Dead! No more waiting! Hurray! And now an hour long! Juicy!
