Neil A. Armstrong first man to set foot on the surface of the has died. He was 82.
Armstrong was a NASA astronaut and was chosen for the first manned mission to the moon Apollo 11 which happened in July of 1969.
The Apollo astronauts did not know who the first on the moon would be until late in their mission training.
